Our Colors
Kyle wanted a red and black...aka Texas Tech wedding. I wanted my fav. colors, blue and pink. So with much thought...I combined all 4 colors into our wedding.

The dresses will be in Marine (Navy) with a Red sash to make the outfits POP! The guys will be wearing Navy and Black. Those will be the two main colors. The Red and Pinks will be in the floral arrangements.

Centerpieces
We are using the Piazza's centerpieces. It's a scented battery op. candle with diamonds all around it. To give it a romantic touch on the black tablecloth, we will sprinkle rose petals among the diamonds/crystals. It's simple but elegant. My main thing is having guests to actually look across the table and talk, not move so the centerpiece is in the way.
Flower Ideas!
I'm using Rey Beathea Florist for my flowers. He I believed grew up and went to high school with my mom. He did my grandparent's flowers for their funerals and they were stunning!!! I know I'm in good hands the it will make the day that much more gorgeous!

Have Our Cake and Eat it Too!
I want cakes to be all about Kyles. Since we both graduated from Tech, and he absolutely LOVES football....we are both liking this! It's a picture of Jones AT&T Stadium where Tech plays football.
My cake will be simple. I like a hexagon layout with white icing. It will be 4 layers with each layer having a different design-pearls/diamons, swirls, poka dots, and a different type of swirl, all in black icing. Each layer will be seperated with navy ribbon. Red and pink flowers will be scattered randomally throughout the cake.

My Cake!
My cake will be a 3-layer hexagonal shaped cake. The bottom and top will be a white cake filled with raspberry moose and buttercream whipped icing! YUM! The middle layer will be a lemon cake (so good!) Each layer will have a navy ribbon around the bottom, with crystals on the edge. Top layer will have hearts drawn on it, middle layer will have swirls, and the bottom will have poka dots! I am looking for a double heart cake topper with crystals on it, so my cake will be blingy too! :) Ruth will put a stargazer lilly here and there on the cake as well! I absolutely can not wait to see it!!
My cake topper is made out of Swarvorski Crystals like everything else!! :) It is 4.5 x 6.5 inches. It'll go perfect on my hexagonal shaped cake!
